The Location
Big Foot Resort and RV Park is located in the popular Alexandria lakes area, close to everything this tourism town has to offer. It is only 10 miles from Alexandria, and 5 miles from the I94/114 exit. The RV Park is only two hours from the Twin Cities, making it an easy destination for vacationers who don’t want a long drive.
The RV Sites and Grounds
Big Foot Resort and RV Park features 32 acres of woods, wetlands, and grassland. All 125 RV sites are full hookup with city sewer, water and 100-amp service with 50/30/20 amp plugs. Most are seasonal rentals, but a few are rented nightly as a lucrative income stream and to provide an additional lodging option. The campground has great amenities such as a private boat launch, 18 hole miniature golf, laundry/shower house, TWO swimming pools, meeting room and new playground. The resort property includes an expansive lawn for playing games, a playground, and there is an indoor common area for guests to use.
The Cabins
In addition to the RV sites, there are 11 cabins/park models ranging in size from 2 to 5 bedrooms. All have TV, A/C and full kitchens, and are a nice option for guests who don’t own a camper but want to join family and friends and enjoy the lake.
The Beach and Marina
The property has 1,100 ft. of lake frontage on Lake Mary, which is 2,450 acres. All docks are new and were added in 2021. There is 1000 feet of floating dock and approximately 70 boat slips. Two pontoons are available for rental. There is a private boat launch and a fish cleaning house near the beach. The large, sandy beach is great for gathering and playing. The resort includes a large 24’ barge for installing docks and boat lifts.

The private owner’s home has seven bedrooms, three baths, and 3600 square feet of living space. Built in 2000, it is a modular home on poured walls, with a walk out basement facing the lake. Both the large deck and the lower patio area provide a panoramic view of the campground and lake.
The home has enough bedrooms and living space that it can easily accommodate a large family, seasonal employees, or parents who are willing to help with the day to day operations of the resort.
There is a triple detached garage for your vehicles and/or personal storage.
